Save Hardware 02:02 STEP 4: Place Skid Plate Into Position, Loosely Reinstall Factory Rear Shock Hardware 03:14 STEP 5: Install and Finger-Tighten Two Provided Smaller Bolts, Washers, and Nuts 04:11 STEP 6: Finger-Tighten Rear Shock Hardware 04:23 STEP 7: Tighten Two Smaller Bolts Using 9/16" Socket and Wrench 04:52 STEP 8: Using 9/16" Socket and Wrench, Tighten Rear Shock Hardware Until Hand Tight 05:07 STEP 9: Using 27mm Socket and Torque Wrench, Torque Rear Shock Hardware to 250 ft/lbs 05:35 Product Post-Install Showcase 05:55 STEP 10: Reinstall Rear Wheels 06:51 Jason Cook, Owner of TMX 07:36 End Screen MetalCloak Bronco 6G Rear Shock Skid Plates, Pair Minimum Installation Tools Required: Socket & Ratchet Wrench 27mm Socket 9/16" Socket 9/16" Box Wrench Installation Notes: An alternative to STEP 4 is to place the skid plate into position and loosely install the two provided smaller bolts, washers, and nuts in order to hold the skid plate into place, then on the following step, reinstall the factory rear shock hardware and tighten with a 27mm socket. MetalCloak uses stainless steel hardware where possible. Therefore, a tube of Silver Anti-seize is provided and should be used on all bolts -- only a small amount is needed.
