Guys, I really love this tree. I grew it from the seed of a store bought fruit. In just a couple of years it's provided me with this wonderful fruit. Best Tamarillo I have EVER eaten. Superior to store bought in every way. The fruit have a sweetness in the same was that a Kiwi is sweet, but these are not as tart. They do have a slight pleasant acidity to them, like a very mild citrus. Some of the other flavours I detect are guava and passionfruit with the faintest of tomato tastes in the background. It is amazing because this fruit can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes. I would recommend people trying to grow this tree.
