HVAC Furnace Has No C Terminal?

Does your HVAC furnace not have a low voltage 24v C terminal? If you are looking for your 24v common in the furnace and not having any luck finding it, there are 2 easy ways you can try to track it down. The first one is to trace the 24v common wire from the transformer and see where it goes. Wherever that wire hooks up to, will be a 24v common terminal. The second way is only possible if you have central air. Find the thermostat wire coming from your air conditioner and trace where the white wire goes. In almost all cases it is the white wire that is the common. The Y wire (red) should go to a terminal that is obviously marked as Y. If you trace the white wire, that will also lead you to a 24v common terminal.
