Download link: http://tinyurl.com/p739yl4 Pic link (no text): http://tinyurl.com/lf5nxkz\ lol at uploading holiday special 2014 in 2015 Took me a while to decide what I wanted to do for a winter-y kind of remix this year, but I’m glad I eventually picked Escape Through the Snow—despite it in itself being a remix of Run Away, I think it’s probably my favourite iteration of the theme entirely due to how effectively it develops an appropriate atmosphere for such a chilly, bleak moment in the game. Anyway, I wanted to emulate that chilly atmosphere through the remix in its intro and ending, but the rest of the song turned out to be rather energetic--I honestly tried to make the whole song mellow, but it just didn’t work out lol. I guess that was in part to the genre I went with, though I suppose I don’t necessarily have the best track record when it comes to making calmer music pieces regardless. :P Ah well. Maybe next year I can call upon my INNER ZEN and post an actual winter-like-holiday-mix… no promises though. ;) In the meantime, hope you guys enjoy something a little more chaotic and upbeat! (There’s a reference in this one, by the way: its a part of a battle theme from both G/S/C & R/B/Y, though I guess its closer to the G/S/C version than the R/B/Y one.
