IT FOLLOWS: THEME/TITLE (Solo piano arrangement)

(Yes, intentionally recorded/published on Friday the 13th :) )Rich's music arranges brilliantly for piano. He asked me for the score for this arrangement; it should be available through his website/blog. A big piece requires a big arrangement - the middle section of this work is very busy: lots of voices. It isn't easy to hold together. Hands crossing, voices shared between hands - this work has serious pianistic merit. Balancing the volume of each line is tricky. Very important to me was that the 'ticking clock of doom' continued throughout the entire work. If you've seen the movie, you'll understand why keeping the relentless, continual, and unstopping motif is important. The aim was to create an arrangement that is pianistically rewarding - but not so difficult to be off-putting to everyone but concert pianists. Given the equipment is two basic camcorders and two Tascam portable recording units, the result is pretty good for a home recording. Certainly good enough for YT. Best Kris
