The Bird Streets of Hollywood Hills Beverly Hills / West Hollywood / Hollywood Hills / Los Angeles Episode 228 Doheny Drive is a north–south thoroughfare named after Edward L. Doheny; an early 20th century oil tycoon infamous for being caught up in the Teapot Dome scandal. Doheny was also the loose inspiration for the 1926 novel ‘Oil!’, which later inspired the 2007 film ‘There Will Be Blood’. Doheny Drive starts in a residential cul-de-sac near the Beverlywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. The street passes the Pico-Robertson neighborhood, enters Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and eventually ends north of Swallow Drive in the affluent Bird Streets neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills.
