Ever stumbled across a hole in the ground and wondered how far down it actually goes? Well the same thing happened in 1997 to a man named Mel Waters in Ellensburg, Washington and Mels Hole was born. After some experiments, he deemed the hole to be bottomless and called in to Coast to Coast AM, then hosted by the late, great Art Bell.
