On September 21, 2025, the drumming world converged at The Cutting Room in New York City for an unforgettable night produced by Hudson Music. Hosted by Joe Bergamini, the event was a powerful tribute to the "Global Drumming Ambassador," the late Dom Famularo. It was an evening defined by remembrance, shared stories, and a massive musical tribute from legends, students, and peers alike. The Performance: Sergio Bellotti & Teri Cote This clip captures the debut of "Two for Dom," a piece specifically composed for this occasion by Berklee College of Music Professor Sergio Bellotti and Teri Cote (drummer for the late David Cassidy). Both Sergio and Teri shared a deep mentorship and personal bond with Dom. To honor his memory and keep his legacy moving forward, they have officially launched their duo drumming project under the name TWO for DOM. Their mission is to embody exactly what Dom stood for: Entertainment and Education through drumming. A Night of Legends & Community The evening featured an incredible house band led by Bill Heller and featuring Christine Ohlman (The Beehive Queen). The room was filled with drumming royalty and world-class musicians who came to pay their respects, including: Will Calhoun (Living Colour) Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (Legendary Session Great) Rick Latham (Advanced Funk Studies) Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, Rainbow) Bobby Sanabria (Latin Jazz Legend) Rob Wallis (Founder of Hudson Music) ...and many more world-class musicians who performed and were in attendance. A Family Legacy Most importantly, the entire Famularo family was in attendance to witness the outpouring of love from the community Dom built. This performance is dedicated to them and to the man who taught us all to play with passion.
