In Episode 2 of Suppress The World, we take a closer look at the Ridgeback Defense Rhino S suppressor and put it through a full sound comparison against several other 5.56 suppressors. The goal of this episode is simple: test suppressors side-by-side under the same conditions so viewers can hear the differences in tone and sound signature. For this episode, the Rhino S goes head-to-head with several other 5.56 cans including the Jaguar Silencers Fatty, Jaguar Silencers Sick Nasty, and the Replicator USA Ventus 556. Each suppressor is tested on the same rifles to keep the comparison as consistent as possible. We also wanted to see how the Rhino S performs across different barrel lengths, since barrel length can have a major impact on sound and overall tone. To do that, we ran the suppressor on four different rifle setups: Bilson Arms BA15-FC – 12.5" barrel NCR Service Rifle Clone – 20" barrel Aero Precision – 16" barrel SIG 556 – 10" barrel The Rhino S is a lightweight titanium suppressor designed specifically for 5.56 platforms. Its compact footprint and low weight help maintain the balance of the rifle while still delivering strong sound reduction and minimal back pressure. Rhino S specifications and design highlights include: Caliber compatibility optimized for 5.56 NATO Overall length of 6 inches 1.75-inch diameter Titanium construction for durability and reduced weight Total weight of approximately 9.5 ounces Average sound performance around 132 dB Low back pressure design Flash signature designed to be minimal for a titanium suppressor, with mild sparking possible during heavy firing schedules Full-auto rated with a firing schedule of up to three magazines in under one minute Compatible with barrels 10.3 inches and longer HUB mounting interface with 1-3/8 x 24 thread pitch compatibility Works with a wide range of mounting systems depending on user preference Supports short-configuration Plan B mounting options Maximum supported muzzle device depth of 1.7 inches Throughout the video we compare the tone and sound signature of each suppressor across multiple rifles and barrel lengths so you can hear how the Rhino S stacks up in a real range environment.
