A video I promised to do, and finally got around to doing. For an explanation of all the switches and wiring schematic (if you're brave enough to try it), check out my other video where I walk through the guitar:    • My Partscaster Build w/ Seymour Duncan P-R...   Here is a run through of all the sounds you can get from the Seymour Duncan P-Rails Pickups, which are a rail coil (think strat single coil sounds) and a P-90 stacked next to each other. I ran my guitar straight into my audio interface and into an amp simulator that mimics a Vox AC30, with low to med gain. The sounds are (in order) as follows: 1. Rail Coil: Neck/Neck+Bridge/Bridge 2. P-90 Coil: Neck/Neck+Bridge/Bridge 3. Humbucker (both coils in Parallel): Neck/Neck+Bridge/Bridge 4. Humbucker (both coils in Series): Neck/Neck+Bridge/Bridge 5. Rail Coil: Neck+Bridge in Phase/Neck+Bridge out of Phase 6. P-90 Coil: Neck+Bridge in Phase/Neck+Bridge out of Phase 7. Humbucker (both coils in Parallel): Neck+Bridge in Phase/Neck+Bridge out of Phase 8. Humbucker (both coils in Series): Neck+Bridge in Phase/Neck+Bridge out of Phase 9. Rail Coil: Neck+Bridge in Parallel/Neck+Bridge in Series 10. P-90: Neck+Bridge in Parallel/Neck+Bridge in Series 11. Humbucker (both coils in Parallel): Neck+Bridge in Parallel/Neck+Bridge in Series 12. Humbucker (both coils in Series): Neck+Bridge in Parallel/Neck+Bridge in Series 13. Rail Coil: Neck+Bridge in Phase and in Parallel/Neck+Bridge out of Phase and in Series 14. P-90: Neck+Bridge in Phase and in Parallel/Neck+Bridge out of Phase and in Series 15: Humbucker (both coils in Parallel): Neck+Bridge in Phase and in Parallel/Neck+Bridge out of Phase and in Series 16: Humbucker (both coils in Series): Neck+Bridge in Phase and in Parallel/Neck+Bridge out of Phase and in Series Please note for the sake of brevity in the video text, Humbucker (Parallel) means that both the Rail Coil and the P-90 Coil are active, with each coil connected in parallel (lower output, like the 2nd or 4th position of a strat) and Humbucker (Series) means that both the Rail Coil and the P-90 are active with one coil running into the other (like how most standard humbuckers are wired).
