Reducing Positional Errors in a Watch With an EtaChron Regulator (Seiko 6R35A Movement)

In this video, Christopher Crawford shows how to reduce positional varaince in a watch's rate by adjusting the regulator pins in a movement with an EtaChron style regulator system. He uses a Seiko 6R35A movement for this tutorial, as it had really extreme variance. In the dial up position, it was running at +10 seconds per day, but in the vertical positions (crown up, crown down, crown left, crown right), it was losing a LOT of time; between -30 seconds and -75 seconds per day depending on the position. After adjusting the regulator pins, it now runs at +4 seconds per day in the dial up position and -4 seconds per day in all of the vertical positions. A gigantic improvement!
