Great Guitar Build-Off 2022: The Scratch Build - FULL BUILD

My entry into the scratch build category of the great guitar build off 2022. Also happens to be my very first guitar from scratch. Threw myself into deep end with this, giving myself a hell of a challenge and nearly didn't get it done. A lot of the tasks seen here are the first time i've performed them and I impulsively decided not to do test cuts or practice certain techniques which has resulted in some mistakes and flaws but only really cosmetic. This guitar is a mutliscale 7-string electric utilising a 27.5" scale on the bass side to a 25.5" on the treble. It is based on a #Balaguer #Espada which I consider to be one of the best guitars on the market currently (Balaguer please don't come for me I do not claim this shape as my own nor do I intend to sell it - consider it a job application?) A lot of the issues began during the finish. I was using a paint I've never tried before and didn't anticipate it to be so difficult to work with. As a result there are spots of darker colour and some bumpiness especially around the edge. All considered, I'm unbelievably pleased with the result and can't wait to get back to it and see how I can improve.
