Ambient Bicycle Ride Aqueduct Riverside Loop March 2025 4K

It is the pre-cycling season in Montreal. The dedicated cycling paths are 99% clear. Sheets of leftover snowbanks are mostly limited to the shadiest parts of the dedicated paths. I cycled for a couple hours on March 19th looking for a loop that was obstacle free. By the time you see this video conditions should have improved in many of the trouble spots. The path along the aqueduct is in excellent condition for this time of year. There is some debris on the asphalted surface that looks like gravel or salt. It makes me think that the city may have been clearing the path during the winter months. Other bicycle paths in Montreal along the Lachine Canal are still completely snow covered. There are still parked cars in the bicycle path where the path shares the street with cars. I believe this will change on April 1st. The street in general are damaged and dirty after the winter weather. We hope, this will get cleaned up quickly.
