Our 4-day adventure through Gdańsk took us from the vibrant old town to the monumental Malbork Castle, the seaside charm of Sopot, and the powerful history of Westerplatte. The old town of Gdańsk feels like a place where history quietly lingers in the streets. Walking along Długi Targ, the pastel facades lead you toward Neptune’s Fountain, where people gather beneath the gaze of the sea god. Nearby, the Main Town Hall stands tall, its tower watching over the square. Mariacka Street offers a quieter rhythm, its amber shops and ornate doorways giving the city a more intimate feel. Not far from there, the shadow of St. Mary’s Church stretches over the rooftops, while down by the Motława River, the old crane still towers above the water like it has for centuries.
