This guitar shocked me! Rarely do I play a guitar which stands out as different enough to reconsider my thoughts on what I love about guitars but this Shergold Provocateur did just that. Not many guitars come with a humbucker and P90 but the Shergold Provocateur does exactly that, but not just any Humbucker and P90 but increadible sounding Seymour Duncan pickups. The pickups in question are the Seymour Duncan S P90 1 and the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker. The Seymour Duncan SP90-1 is quite a hot alnico V P90 pickup with an output of around 8k but it just sounds incredible. In previous videos we compared this to other P90 pickups and this Seymour Duncan SP90-1 definitely stood out. The Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge is what really shocked me. This may well be my new favourite bridge humbucker. It just sounds incredible. Other features on this Shergold Provocateur are the satin mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard with cool line inlays.
