This week’s stream turned into a discussion about the state of live streaming. We start with the Rampage Jackson, Deen The Great and Larry Wheels situation. The slap heard around the streamosphere and the ego behind the cheek that felt it. What stood out to me wasn’t just the chaos. It was the pattern. Negativity. Violence. Shock moments. Everything amplified, farmed and clipped. We’re in the era of the clip. That led into Atozy covering Eddie, the CEO of Kick, admitting most KPP streamers were viewbotting. He also mentioned clip pages botting their own clips. People in the community revisited what Trainwreck said a while back about bots being everywhere in streaming. I share my thoughts on how live streaming platforms have little incentive to take a hard stance on viewbotting as it could make their business model appear to be failing. Bots aren’t rare. They’re normal. We talk about: • Machismo culture in streaming • Ego and humiliation • Parallels between Raja Jackson and Deen • The Kick viewbotting situation • Why clip farming rewards bad behavior • What this could mean for live streaming long term I don’t farm drama. I look at patterns. Edited from Wednesday’s Just Chatting stream. Clips: @DeiovidClips Live every Wednesday. Link in bio.
