An example that he gives is when the mob filled up a venue for three days in a row when Frank Sinatra Jr. performed live and in return, Frank Sinatra Sr. made a live appearance at a rally for Italian American civil rights league as a favor to Joe Colombo. Franzese also reveals that the Italian mob had a very friendly relationship with Sammy Davis Jr. as well. According to Franzese, Sammy Davis Jr even did a movie for him, but after he was sent to prison, the legendary singer was cut out of the film.
