FREE DOWNLOAD: https://laurentheflute.bandcamp.com/t... Hi! I'm Lauren. I play flute and sing. I like to cover video game music, so here's another one! Several years ago, when I was going through a very difficult time, one of my friends gave me the CD of official arranged music from this series. I fell completely in love with all of the music on it. Now, whenever I have a bad day, I either listen to this song or I sing it to myself. It makes me happy. Some of my friends have been going through tough times, so this is dedicated to them! UPDATE: I am playing through Earthbound the first time and now I understand why all of you love it so much. It is beautiful and sweet and hilarious and weird and utterly, utterly unique. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to finally give it a try. I am so glad I did. You can catch me playing it on Twitch on Tuesdays if you want: / laurentheflute I did a whole lot with the mixing in this one and I think it's my best-mixed cover yet. By far. I learned a whole lot and I've finally put into practice what my recording buddies have been telling me about for months! Years! Yay! This is heavily based on a lovely MIDI I found on vgmusic.com because I wanted to keep the cheer and joy of the official vocal cover but I wanted to lose some of the cheese... and then I found this great MIDI with a very nice solo part that I interpreted for my flute. So if you know who made the MIDI, could you point them my way so I can thank them? ALSO: A little mini announcement here. I've finally put together a Facebook page so you can keep in touch with me more easily: / laurentheflute And! I have a Patreon now: / laurentheflute I'm going to keep making videos regardless, buuuuut I'm about to start a really intense grad school program and I'll have less time to work on music. It takes a lot of time to make a video like this, so it's easier for me to set aside the time if I can get a little help (which will go toward my grad school tuition!). If you want to give, you can, but don't feel obligated.
