Kereshmeh Ensemble, a leading Vancouver-based Persian (Iranian) music ensemble, performs at the 2010 Harmony Arts Festival at the West Vancouver Museum in West Vancouver, BC, Canada on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Kereshmeh Ensemble, which endeavors to build a bridge between East and the West through their music, has performed at various concerts arcoss Canada and USA and has appeared in various folk festivals around the world. Other activities at the museum included performances by the Chichaklar dance group, a demonstration of Iranian calligraphy by Saeed Zargari, traditional Iranian tea and delicacies provided by Canadian Iranian Foundation and a presentation on fashion and jewellery by social anthropologist Massoume Price, and a contemporary fashion display by Fariba Mirzaie, a Vancouver-based fashion designer and textile artist.
