Alabama Had a lot of great songs in the 70s and 80s and 90s. They had 27 number hits in the 80s. Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear was on their 1985 Christmas Album. While I farmed my hobby was raising and training Quarter Horses. As our daughteres were growing up we followed the Quarterorse circuit showing our horses. I also travelled the rodeo circuit with the Canadian Rodeo Association. I team roped and trained colts and horses. I judged horse shows and taught riding clinics. When I retired we moved to a condo in the city. I took up golf and played at it for twenty years. Last year I had to give up golf for health reasons. I still have my guitar. I played and sang since I was a teenager altho only for family and friends. In March 2025 my daughter convinced me to record my songs and put them on YouTube. I decided to try one per day and now after 300 days I have over 300 songs. Who knew that I remember so many songs? My future plan is to continue with YouTube and try to improve my computer skills so that the videos are better. Memories triggered by music. I play a guitar and sing and remember back on my 83 years.
