I think I have found a timecode workflow YOU may want to use too! Good sound is a very important component of our videos. Many, if not most of us are using some sort of external recording method, be it a video microphone externally fed into the camera, a lavalier microphone with a pocketable sound recorder or a combination of both. If we have a little team of presenters, it gets even more complex. Back home at the cutting table this needs to be synchronised up for the final video. And that's where the true pain begins! A workflow using timecode can speed the sound-matching process up dramatically. But, if you look at the rigs (semi)professionals use to achieve this, you would usually give up before you started, thinking that - no - you are not a body-builder who has won the lottery. There is a fairly easy way that isn't prohibitively expensive. Watch this video to find out more!
