Peace, This video is an adaptation of MUURISH AWAKENING Winter 2019-2020 volume 7, issue 4. It is in response to videos uploaded by Dane Calloway, Chief Kalinago and Kurimeo Ahau that dealt with the term Moor/Muur simultaneously around the same time in December 2019. I agree with 90-95% of the information these brothers present. Though, I did not agree with their conclusions, thus the article and this subsequent video, I am not challenging anyone as their videos aid me greatly in my research. My intent is to only add to the conversation recognizing that we all naturally have our own agendas, point of views, biases and opinions. The mission of the American Muurish Research Initiative (AMRI), Inc is to research information about our American Muurish heritage then present that information via publications such as books, newsletters, classes and videos. MUURISH AWAKENING is an event that has been taking place which has been predicted in scriptures and prophecies under various names after a time of darkness. Primarily, we the American Aborigine is awaking to our real heritage which we are indigenous to this land, Muur is a word used through history to describe the original human beings who were a dark-complexioned people. We reject false labels that has been imposed on us by those who are opposed to natural human growth and development (i.e. Black, Negro, Colored, Nigger, etc) while also rejecting a false narrative of the human history which discludes the true nature and color of the original human beings. I am an independent researcher. I am not a member of the Moorish Temple of America (MSTA), the Washitaw Muurs or any Moorish/ Muurish group affiliated with or any off-shoot. I identify myself fully as an Indigenous Muslim American Muur after four decades of identifying as African-American (Muslim African-American), who developed an African-American History and African Studies courses and taught them to both children and adults in the community (as opposed to an educational institution). I am an Imam (Muslim spiritual leader) associated with two masajid (mosques) in affiliated nationally with the WD Mohammed Community. I fulfill my Imam duties by conducting Jummuah services at the masjids and as a volunteer at a local prison, performing marriages, etc. I also the Chief Administrator and Teacher at Al-Idrisi Academy which is the homeschool for my youngest children. My books are available on Amazon.com. They are as follows: 1. The Development of Al-Islam in the African-American Community (2nd ed); (Halim Mustafa Al-Kanemi) 2.
