Let me just say this grill is stinking awesome. Its an unbelievable grill. What I normally hate about high end grills, is sometimes companies just make nice grills to make nice grills. And they dont really do anything different to the gas grill market. Its just another product that is the same old song and dance. Well then along came Hestan and totally redeemed themselves. Because they didnt just make another grill that just has high end finishes and materials, there actually is a lot different in this grill that in my opinion offers superior performance. Let me break it down. Spring assisted hood this isn’t just a lightweight hood, it actually stays put anywhere you have the lid placed! The ceramic briquettes are reversible which is stinking awesome. That is normally the most annoying thing with this feature is them always getting dirty. Well Hestan solved this problem. The cooking grates are awesome too, and are also reversible The trellis burners are one of a kind and unlike anything I have ever seen, they are 321 Stainless steel, so they are extremely durable, and the design is a way that will promote even cooking throughout the grill! The coolest thing in my opinion is that the infrared rotisserie burner is in the roof of the grill, this allows you to use the warming rack and a broiler or a toaster, which is so so awesome.
