TVS Motor Company is gearing up to showcase the new M1-S electric maxi-scooter at EICMA 2025, as the same has been teased on the brand’s social media handles. The Indian two-wheeler is set to showcase six new products at the EICMA trade show, and the M1-S is a part of this unveiling. The TVS M1-S has been jointly developed with ION Mobility, a Singapore-based electric mobility startup in which TVS is a strategic investor. Originally known as the ION M1-S, this electric maxi-scooter benefits from TVS’s technical support and expertise across product development, operations, and intellectual property. Powering the scooter is a 4.3kWh battery pack that produces 16.76bhp and a peak torque of 45Nm. The M1-S can sprint from 0-50kmph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 105kmph. It delivers a range of 150km on a single charge. In terms of design, the TVS M1-S sports an aggressive and aerodynamic front fascia, featuring twin LED headlamps with eyebrow-style DRLs and integrated turn indicators. The scooter also comes with a flat floorboard, single-piece seat, and a sleek rear grab rail, lending it a sporty yet functional appeal. The M1-S is equipped with a seven-inch TFT display, which will support smartphone connectivity, music control, navigation, and call/SMS alerts.
