MaMan's latest track, "Dafnino," marks his powerful return to music after a lengthy break. It's one of the songs he salvaged from his time in Sudan and brought to life anew in Egypt. The title itself is Sudanese slang, referring to the secrets and dreams we hold close but keep buried. In "Dafnino," MaMan speaks directly to his love, his daughter, and his homeland. He urges them to remember the aspirations they once held dear, those buried dreams. The lyrics weave in a famous Sudanese proverb that warns how morning light can erase the plans and promises made at night.
