Extra weft fabric with Arahne textile design software

We are using the same picture form SVG to woven exercise.    • SVG vector into woven design   This time we will make an extra weft fabric, that is fabric with variable weft density. First we use ArahPaint to recolor the flowers, but we must use only one color horizontally, since we do not want to increase the number of wefts. Then we load the image in ArahWeave's jacquard conversion, set the extra weft as our jacquard conversion type, and system to 3. We use number three, since we have one ground and two extra wefts. The extra weft will also change from one yarn color to another. For each color, we need to select a weave for ground, first extra weft, and second extra weft. By putting the yarn letter on the extra weft effect weave, we tell the program which yarn color should it insert for that effect. After pressing OK, program initially makes the weave 3 times bigger, since it is multiplied by system 3. But we then remove the unneeded extra wefts. As a result, we get a weave with variable density, and program also writes the weft change and regulator automatically. We only check the simulation, face and back of the fabric, and finally save the jacquard cards in Stäubli JC5 format. We are now ready to weave this fabric, transfer it by FTP, e-mail, floppy or USB memory key.
