The woman who was dragged for over 12 km on the roads of Delhi, Anjali, and her friend Nidhi had a fight over money minutes before they left the hotel on their scooty. Another man, who was also present at the hotel and partying with the women, said Anjali and Nidhi had a verbal fight which subsequently turned physical in the hotel room. On January 1, Anjali, who worked at an event management company, was riding her scooter with her friend Nidhi when a Baleno hit her. Anjali's leg was caught in the left front wheel of the car, as per the forensics report, and she was dragged for 12 kilometres.
