Today’s special recipe is Vegetarian Meen Kulambu 🌱🔥 This is a unique South Indian style kulambu that gives you the taste and aroma of traditional fish curry – but completely vegetarian 😍 We are using special masala, tamarind base, and traditional village-style cooking method to recreate that authentic meen kulambu flavour without fish. ✨ Perfect side dish for: Hot steamed rice 🍚 Idli / Dosa Kambu / Ragi kali Ingredients: Vaazhaipo (Banana blossom) – 1 cup (finely chopped, cleaned) Small onion – 10 Tomato – 1 Garlic – 5 cloves Curry leaves – few Tamarind – small lemon size (extract 1 cup) Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp Red chilli powder – 1½ tsp Coriander powder – 2 tsp Salt – as needed Gingelly oil – 2 tbsp 🥥 Coconut Masala: Grated coconut – ½ cup Fennel seeds – ½ tsp Cumin seeds – ½ tsp Green chilli – 1 ➡️ Grind this to smooth paste. 👩🍳 Method: 1️⃣ Vaazhaipo clean pannitu, finely chop panni, little turmeric & salt water la soak pannunga (bitterness reduce ஆகும்). 2️⃣ Kadai la gingelly oil heat pannunga. 3️⃣ Mustard splutter → curry leaves → garlic → small onion sauté. 4️⃣ Tomato add panni soft ஆக விடுங்க. soaked vaazhaipo add pannitu 5 mins cook pannunga. 5️⃣ Turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder add pannitu roast pannunga. 6️⃣ Tamarind extract add pannitu 5–7 mins boil pannunga. 7️⃣ Ippo coconut paste add pannitu medium flame la simmer. 🔥 Oil slightly separate ஆகும் – aprom switch off.
