The Black History Month rally supposed to happen today is postponed until Feb. 27 due to needing more time to organize performances and gather materials, according to assistant Principal Luis Chacon. A mental health crisis team presented to the Law Academy on Feb. 4, sharing their stories and what their job focuses on. Lets see what our reporters James Flores and Julian Villalta captured. A lockdown happened during 7th period on January 29, nearly at the end of the school day. Our reporter Milo Pantoja went out to investigate the cause of it, and here is what he captured. Bad bunny delivered a historic halftime show at the super bowl transforming the stage into a celebration of Puerto Rican heritage and latin american unity. While many said it was a great show, many others disagreed. Our reporters Jhair Sanchez, Jose Gil Bermudez and Antonio Santos went around and asked people their thoughts on the record breaking performance. Our reporter Melani Leon went and asked students what school essentials they need in their backpack. The boys and girls soccer team celebrated their senior night on January 29 & 30th! Our reporter, Andrea Medrano, went out to capture their ceremony. Let's see how it went! The boys soccer team lost 2 - 4 against the Saint Mary´s Panthers this Tuesday, ending their playoff run in the semi finals. The Oilers were up 2-0 but Saint Mary's put four goals past RHS in the second half to crush the boys hope of advancing in NCS playoffs. It was a heart breaking loss for the team who had an overall winning season, finishing second in their division. Lets see what our journalists Kristian Rios and Ryan Reyes captured.
