There are more than 30 different tribes in Sabah, Borneo. We visited the village where the Rungus people lives, in Kudat, Sabah. In the past, the Rungus people were known for their powerful black magic, making gongs, and beads. While many no longer practice black magic, the traditions of making gongs and beading are still alive. They are also the only tribe in Sabah who still lives in a longhouse. It was interesting to learn more about their culture, traditions, and the purpose of the longhouse. We even slept overnight, and had an interesting and humbling experience. Check out our vlog!
