This fight is so bad that it warps around to being lowkey kinda good. I actually had fun doing this run, which took 32 turns, 2 HP Potions, and 1 MP Potion. Hero Build: 200 DEX 200 END 45 CHA Dragon Build: 200 Protection 200 Assistance 199 Fighting 1 Mischief Archnalchemy: 8x HoT, 8x Duration It's probably much easier to do this fight by nuking Kartherax with Inner Darkness, but that's kind of lame so I decided to save it for a much bigger nuke into Acatriel's second life instead. This has the advantage of completely skipping Acatriel's second phase but does make surviving against the duo kind of annoying. It's quite amusing how this does end up making this fight a natural successor to my Moonlit Hunt and Star Defenders clears with this class in that respect, the only difference being that I couldn't nuke Shadowslayer E after his revival during Moonlit Hunt and Star Defenders had Golem enemies. However, the nature of Kartherax's rotation being so heavily reliant on your MPM/BPD and regularly attempting to counteract those stats somehow and Acatriel requiring you to use basic Attack and lower your health beyond a certain point actually play to the natural strengths of this class. Also I believe it should go without saying, but it is never safe to use Corrupted Malefic Binding against Kartherax, so please don't do that. The important debuff in this case is just the -55 Bonus anyway, and the automatic stun skews his rotation such that you can't pick off important debuffs with the Scales you use against Acatriel's first salvo of nukes. The first part of the fight is rather orthodox, as it is just dealing damage under Corruption while the bosses are at their least threatening. Afterwards, the bosses start to use stronger attacks and debuffs that prevent you from nuking them later on, so by chaining (specifically Uncorrupted) Malefic Binding into both auxillary shields and Void Barrier, you get essentially 10 turns of Immortality (provided Acatriel doesn't hit over or crit into Chimeric Defense). Shortly after Corruption comes back off cooldown, one would have avoided both of Kartherax's offensive debuffs and both of Acatriel's end-of-rotation nukes and would theoretically be in the perfect position to nuke Kartherax with Inner Darkness, but racking up Doom special damage over the fight and abusing Void Barrier's reflection does allow you to whittle Kartherax down just the same. Those two Blood Rites used against Acatriel around the time Kartherax dies can also be used against Kartherax if he has much more HP remaining than he has here, as the main intent behind those two turns is actually to get your health below 30% and prevent Acatriel from healing and, more importantly, gaining Bonus. This allows a combination of Weakening Blow and Malefic Binding (overkill, I know) to render his second set of nukes negligible. Thereafter, Corruption is off cooldown again, but so are Void Barrier and Weakening Blow. It is within your liberty to play more defensively from this point forward, however, it is instrumental to note that Acatriel is unable to kill you on turn 33 due to his attack on that turn leaving you at 1 HP at minimum, so this turn may be used to your advantage to acquire additional chip damage through Veragiri Lingering Doom without the need to waste a turn on Corrupted Malefic Binding's autostun. And yes, this fight can be completed in 31 turns using a slightly adjusted rotation if you get 5 critical hits on Inner Darkness, but due the survival RNG, I decided not to attempt this with a base crit of only 105 (52.5% critrate).
