Arthur Adams Preliminary Studies! The latest sketchbook by the incredible comic book artist Arthur Adams, this time not a regular convention sketchbook, but a small book absolutely packed with blue pencil preliminary sketches, the foundation of the masterful inking work we see in his illustrations. Arthurs has a range of art work now, from his beautiful women to monsters like Godzilla. From what I can tell I would say most of the sketches in this book are mainly the preliminary sketches of comic book covers, but there's a little of everything in here spead across over 200 pages. When you come across Arthurs work it's usually already super clean and rendered / inked, so it's really nice to see more of his pencil work. This one is printed super high quality in a small (but thick) book by FLESK. It is available as a paperback and hard cover version at the time of me uploading this.
