My Bio: Christopher Irizarry Candidate for US House of Representatives, FL District 12 Chris grew up near Miami with his siblings and earned a BFA from Florida Atlantic University in 1994. He joined the U.S. Army in 1995 as a Blackhawk Helicopter repairer, serving eight years including overseas tours in South Korea, Germany, and a peacekeeping mission in the Balkans. After completing his master's degree, Chris joined the CIA in 2006 and worked in the Middle East, Central Asia, North Africa, and Europe. He retired from Federal service in September 2024 and now lives in Hudson, Florida with his wife, April. Chris and April share four children between them. Chris is a member of the Democratic Veterans Caucus of Florida and serves as Vice President of the Pasco Democratic Public Education Caucus.
