Leg SWELLING & FATIGUE Led To My Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma: Tony’s Story | The Patient Story

Tony W. was diagnosed with a rare form of non Hodgkin's lymphoma called T-cell/histiocyte-rich large B-cell lymphoma in summer 2021. He had symptoms like leg swelling and fatigue while cycling. He did 6 cycles of R-CHOP chemotherapy. He responded very well initially, with scans showing significant reduction of his lymphoma after just a few treatments. He shares how during chemo, he pushed himself to keep exercising and moving his body to help fight the side effects. After diagnosis, Tony took on an alter ego and warrior mindset to battle the cancer. He also leaned heavily on his faith. Throughout his journey, Tony learned to celebrate the small wins and victories along the way and he advises others going through cancer to guard themselves emotionally and stay focused.
