Sandown Debut! | Daytona Sandown Park D-Max D40 Full Race (02.08.2025)

First time visiting Daytona Sandown, super fun track to drive, unbelievable speed carried into T1, my neck is still feeling it at the time of uploading this video! Main reason for visiting was wanted to try something new, absolutely love Tamworth and it’ll stay my main track regardless, but new fleet of D-Max’s here at Sandown, handling wise feels the same but their pick up on speed seems to be a tad above Tamworth. Didn’t have huge expectations here, went into the race with more of a learning mindset, quite hard to make a move stick as diving down the inside bogs down and compromises exits, but good to get that learning in, my best lap was only 2 tenths off the leader who races here regularly in TNL and Superchamps so I’ll take this as a huge positive given I’ve never raced here! Got two Tamworth visits planned for this month, and possibly a MK visit at some point too, will probs go Sandown again in October maybe. Q: P3 R: P4 FL: 46.818 Thanks for watching!
