Protesters gathered in Magam, north-west of Srinagar, the region's largest city, carrying portraits of Khamenei and chanting slogans against the United States and Israel. Clerics and community leaders addressed the crowds, urging unity among Muslims and calling on the international community to step in to prevent further escalation in the region. Iran holds deep symbolic and religious significance for many Shiite communities worldwide, including in Kashmir.
