The electrical mold carrier system BFT-P V10 from BBG is designed for the efficient production of large-format components, for example applications such as panoramic and full-glass automotive roofs. An integrated shuttle system moves the lower mold half sideways out of the carrier frame. This allows two operators to work in parallel on the upper and lower mold halves, preparing the next production cycle in an ergonomic and efficient way. Thanks to the free access from the front and rear, feeding and removal systems for parts, inserts, or tools can be easily integrated. The system can also be fully automated, for example using robots for loading and unloading parts.
