ATC initially assigned RWY 02L, however the runway is still under construction and not yet available in the simulator. Due to this limitation, I made a last-minute decision to switch to RWY 02R for landing — without requesting ATC approval. While not ideal from a strict procedural standpoint, this reflects a common simulator limitation and the kind of real-time decision-making pilots sometimes face when conditions change unexpectedly.
