Endometriosis & UK Parliament: Kathryn's Story

This is Kathryn’s story about living with endometriosis - a condition which affects 10% of women worldwide. She, along with over 2,600 others shared their experiences in response to a House of Commons digital debate on Facebook in October 2019: https://www.facebook.com/UKHouseofCom... Her story was read out by Alec Shelbrooke MP during his Parliamentary debate on how workplaces can support women living with the condition. Earlier this year, she visited Parliament to meet him and discuss what still needs to be done to help those living with endometriosis. We caught up with her to learn more about her experiences of the condition, and how she felt about getting involved with the House of Commons.
