To commemorate the birth anniversary of Śrī Ādi Şaņkarācārya, and also to celebrate the revered existence of thousands of Yogī-s, Nāga-Sādhūs, Avadhūtas, Aghoras, Munis, Yatis, Sannyāsīs, Etc., this Stotram composed by Ādi Şaņkarācārya Himself, has been presented in the visual-based recital form. There are only a handful of people at any point of time on Planet Earth, who are living yet liberated. Such are respectfully addressed as Jīvan-muktas. Their lifestyle is apparently confusing for the layman. As Ādi Şaņkarācārya states in His Viveka-Cūďāmaņi, Yogī's life is उन्मत्तवद्वा बालवद्वा - either lunatic-like or child-like, thus, unpredictable and beyond the comprehension of layman. Āchārya through this Stotram, has beautifully, yet succinctly listed the apparent contradictions in their ways of living. Note: It is very important that, as laymen, neither should we mock at them and compensate our misunderstanding of their lifestyle, nor should we cherry-pick their lifestyle, imitate and call ourselves as Yogī-s. We should live through their life in entirety and only then we will be qualified to be addressed as a Yogī. It is in this context, one learns the Upanishads and other scriptures, thereby, take the path of spirituality, eventually, reach the highest possible goal of a human life - to become a Yogī/Yoginī or The God/Goddess Himself/Herself. Let's appreciate this marvelously composed Stotra, and look at the great Gurus and seek their blessings 🙌 We've done our best to list as many Yogīs as possible considering 09 minutes and 36 seconds we had. Therefore, omission of a few Yogī's images is purely unintentional. Jai GURUDEVA Jai Hind
