Saturday, June 21, 2025, I, Trooper Chris Dunham, was assigned to a saturated patrol in Blytheville due to a large party in the area. At approximately 7:48 pm, I was notified that Blytheville Police Department units were in vehicle pursuit of a white Dodge Challenger. Officers observed the driver to be Nicholas Charles, and his passenger to be Keabron McFarland, who I had prior knowledge of having multiple felony warrants. I got in a position to intercept the fleeing vehicle near the 63-mile marker of Interstate 55. At approximately 7:48 pm I made visual contact with the fleeing vehicle and at approximately 7:49 pm as the vehicle came by me with my emergency equipment activated, I became involved with the pursuit as the primary unit. The vehicle passed me at speeds estimated at over 80 miles per hour before failing to stop at the stop sign as it turned southbound onto US Highway 61. The vehicle continued southbound on US 61 reaching speeds in excess. of 150 miles per hour and passing vehicles on the shoulder at a very close range. I continued pursuing the vehicle as it entered the city limits of Luxora while still in excess of 140 miles per hour. The vehicle then turned westbound onto State Highway 158 where it reached speeds estimated in excess of 160 miles per hour. While approaching Interstate 55 on State Highway 158, I was able to see the vehicle traveling on the southbound entrance ramp of Interstate 55. As I entered Interstate 55 at approximately 7:55 pm, I lost visual contact with the vehicle. I continued southbound in the closed construction lane with no visual contact with the vehicle. At approximately 7:58 pm, after no visual contact for approximately 5 miles, I terminated the pursuit. At approximately 8:15 pm, I was notified that Troop D observed the vehicle near the 17-mile marker in Crittenden County. After attempting to catch up to the vehicle for several miles, the troopers were unable to regain visual contact. Affidavits were completed and warrants were obtained by Sgt. Hunter Taylor of the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office for Charles and McFarland. Charles turned himself in at the Mississippi County Detention Center on Monday, June 23, 2025, on the charges of Fleeing- Felony, Reckless Driving, and Hindering Apprehension. McFarland is still outstanding at the time of this report and will have a warrant for Fleeing-Felony, as well as numerous other felony warrants with other agencies. #highspeedchase #policechase #dashcamfootage follow me on Instagram / lrhn_caash 😎 follow me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 😎 follow me on twitter https://x.com/LRHN_Cash ✨😎 follow me on tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/@lrhncaash?_t=... 😎✨ Follow me on twitch / lrhn_cash 🥶 Follow me on Snapchat / sbtgtt7z 😎
