She earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Oregon Health & Science University in 2013 and her B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA in 2008. Her research focuses on understanding how substance use, particularly cannabis and alcohol, affects neurocognitive functioning, behavior, and health outcomes in adolescents and young adults.
