The legendary noise rock band The Jesus Lizard returned to Italy after 16 years. Formed in 1987 in Austin, Texas, by vocalist David Yow, guitarist Duane Denison, and bassist David Wm. Sims, the band later moved to Chicago and developed a unique sound — loose, violent, psychotic, and menacing — where blues collides with pure noise and post-core. Their highly distinctive vision can be fully appreciated in genre-defining albums such as Goat, Liar, and Down. After breaking up in 1999 and returning to the stage in 2017, they have now released Rack for Ipecac Records, their first new record in 26 years, accompanied by an extensive tour across the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
