In this video, I react to Quiet Kills’ discussion on survivor entitlement within the Dead by Daylight community, where he provides direct gameplay examples of the kinds of entitled behavior he regularly encounters in matches. His video highlights how certain survivor players expect to be rewarded regardless of poor decision-making, positioning, or macro play, and how those expectations have become normalized within the community. I share my own perspective on why this entitlement exists in the first place and how BHVR continues to cater to these types of players through poorly thought-out balance changes. Instead of encouraging improvement, learning fundamentals, or understanding killer counterplay, the game repeatedly rewards bad habits through perk design and systemic changes. When those players still lose despite being heavily supported, the response is not self-reflection, but more complaints and demands for killer nerfs.
