My Guest on this Episode of the Clarendon Chronicles Podcast is Stephanie Hessler, CEO and Lead Coach at Stephanie Hessler Coaching. Stephanie is a High-Performance Coach, and is incredibly well positioned to do this having spent over 10 years prior to full-time Coaching working in Investment Banking and Investment Businesses on Wall Street. During this time, Stephanie worked with CEOs, CFOs, and high-level strategic teams in demanding and challenging circumstances. As a result, Stephanie now uses her experience working with driven Leaders by Coaching to facilitate them becoming an even better version of themselves, in her words, to “be their most exceptional self”. I am delighted Stephanie was able to find the time to join me, and it was fascinating to hear her insights about working with her clients. Amongst many thought-provoking analyses, Stephanie describes: 1. The fact that many of her Clients aspire to reach higher levels of performance, even though outwardly they have already achieved a great deal; 2. The analysis that a good deal of her clients reach a certain level of maturity before accepting that 'there is more to achieve', and hence seek out a Coach to understand how; 3. How two pivotal events in her own life gave her the insight into the mindset of high-performing individuals; 4. The mindset of 'how to get better; and much, much more. Stephanie has a similar background to me in that she had a successful career as an Executive before committing to her passion of Coaching. Hence, it was really interesting to hear how she herself managed that transition and uses her real-life experience for the benefit of her Clients. A great listen!
