Todays episode of Blue Collar Life features a Danly 1500 Ton Stamping Press. The die I'm installing weighs 19 Tons. It's the first of 5 dies that are used to make a wheelhouse. 1 sheet of steel goes in, 5 hits later, a pair of precision stamped wheel houses emerge. Transported from press to press via robots using suction cups to pick up the product. This is at a very loud factory, so I've brought the volume way down. Enjoy the relaxing guitar!
