GCR 'Postman Pat' Bank Holiday Weekend. 28th-30th Aug 2010 (Part 2)

With Thomas the Tank Engine gone, it was time to try out another 'kids' event. This time... Postman Pat. I was based at Quorn and Woodhouse Station for the event, where most of the filming took place, I was with the Soar Valley Model Railway Club with our Thomas & Friends Layout, raising money for Rainbows Childrens Hospice in Loughborough. Quorn Station was dead. It's as simple as that! Which, isn't a bad thing- in fact it was quite nice for me! It's just a shame that nothing can beat the pulling power that Thomas has. Thanks goes to Alex Tinsley for his help and company over the weekend with the Thomas Layout and Andrew (thelnerrules) for taking me back to Quorn when I got stranded at Loughborough! Locos running over the weekend were: -GNR N2 No.1744 -BR Standard 2 No.78019 -Metro-Cammel Clas 101 DMU
