Installing an Eaton E-locker in my Overland F250 Dana 60 Axle

I have been watching tons of overlanding videos, especially videos with large rigs. I noticed that when climbing obstacle the trucks with lockers were significantly more capable in the technical trails than trucks with open diffs. So I decided it was worth the extra money to get one, my truck actually came stock with a rear locker so all I needed to purchase was a front locker! there are only a few options on the market but in my experience Eaton makes the best, most well designed, and highest quality E-locker on the market even down to the wiring harness. I've installed a spicer wiring harness before and it was straight up garbage, looked like it came straight from china with the cheapest on-off switch. In this video I remove my OEM carrier and remove the ring gear so I can install on the E-locker carrier. The OEM carrier was loose inside the axle housing and also the backlash was very small at .003"-.004" when it should be .006"-.010" so I added a .005" shim on the driver side to tighten the carrier up in the housing and at the same time increasing the backlash. After getting the new E-locker carrier snuggly installed into the axle I drilled a hole for the wires sealed it and pulled the wire through, I put the cover on, reassembled the whole truck, and then ran the harness up to the battery and ran the on-off switch into the dash where i cut a hole in my cluster bezel to accommodate it.
