Launch of the Sepsis Clinical Care Standard

The first national Sepsis Clinical Care Standard was launched by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care on 30 June 2022. The Sepsis Clinical Care Standard provides guidance to ensure the early recognition of sepsis and rapid assessment and treatment to stop sepsis and save lives. It also supports improved coordination of care and better outcomes for those affected by post-sepsis syndrome. This webcast is relevant to all healthcare professionals who may need to recognise and respond to sepsis either on the ward, in the emergency department or in pre-hospital and community settings.
