How to create a parameter prompt that accepts multiple values in MS Access - Office 365

Normally when a Parameter Query prompts for a parameter you can enter only one value. If you have a table for all customers from different states then if you want to get list of customers from only 3 states if you create a parameter prompt for state then you can only retrieve customers for one state at a time. But if you use INSTR function you can retrieve customers list from any number of states. You can also use a LIKE operator with wild card asterisk to get list of customers from multiple states.
